Lose 5 Pounds At a Time
So I’m putting this out for the whole world to see. I am making a commitment to myself to begin a weight loss change of life to exercise more and eat less. I am beginning my weight loss program in May of 2010 and will continue to lose at 5 pound increments until I reach my goal of 100 pounds. It may take me 20 months at 5 pounds per week, or it may take several years, if I lose less per week or have a set back.
This is a personal committment and a pack that I am making with God. We all have somebody we are accountable to and for me it is God. I’ve been cheating God out of His right to bless me with abundance and good health. He is waiting for me and I am like a lost sheep who is trying to find my way back to Him. I am holding food in a higher light than God. God is going to be my number one priority in the next year or two.
I’m going to look to prayer and guidance from God to get me through. I need to be committed and faithful to make this work. I need God’s help and I am asking Him for His help. I know I can’t do it without Him and I know I’m going to do it for Him. He will forgive me if I falter, but I am going to do my best to stay on track.
If you would like to join me in my quest, please come on board. I plan to lose weight by decreasing my eating and increasing my exercise. I plan to pray and look to God for guidance. I plan to tell my family and friends what I am doing so they will support me if I should begin to become weak under pressure. I feel like I am about to embarck on a life changing event and I want to document it every day so I can help others to learn from what I do right and what I do wrong.
Please pray for me and for you, if you need to lose weight also. I would love to hear from you. I need encouragement and guidance and you might be the person God is working through to change me. We can do this together. I will be listing my daily items that I eat and I will be monitoring my exercise levels to see if any changes have an immediate affect on my weight fluctuations. I plan to exercise 20 minutes a day at least five days a week at the minimum.

Lord,
Help me to stay focused on my weight loss goals. I am about to begin my weight loss journey. I look to You for support and guidance in helping me to exercise and to eat healthy foods in moderation. I know You love me and I love You.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
